While he’s continued to have success in recent years, Negreanu’s bracelet drought has stretched to 10 years. In addition to his six WSOP bracelets, Negreanu has 10 second-place finishes and six third-place results, translating to more than 40% of his final table appearances leading to a top-three finish. To date, Negreanu has 196 WSOP bracelet event cashes in his career and 54 final tables, according to WSOP records. While he’ll almost certainly make some Day 2s and Day 3s along the way, many of the tournaments on this schedule offer a variety of different re-entry options – raising the likelihood of getting closer to that dollar amount.
If he doesn’t re-enter any event and plays every listed event, the total amount of every buy-in for Negreanu will be $941,029. Among the 88 tournaments on Negreanu’s radar, his list includes tournaments with buy-ins ranging from Event 18, the $300 Gladiators of Poker No Limit Hold’em tournament, to Event 40, the $250,000 Super High Roller.
That schedule comes with a grand total of two scheduled off days – June 17th and July 4. If an event is not on this list there is no scenario where I’ll play it: These are all events I may/will play if not already in a previous event.
